THE FIRST GAY-GOP COUPLE - Kevin Broadwater, 43, of Laguna Hills, has been appointed to the State Independent Living Council. Broadwater is the partner of Log Cabin California Director James Vaughn and marks the first time a gay Republican couple have served in an administration (at least to our knowledge).
