The Log Cabin Republicans National Convention and Liberty Education Forum National Symposium are just more than one month away.  We hope you'll join us in Washington, DC from April 27-30, 2006.  Register for the convention today.

We have important news for you regarding the convention:

1. Noted gay conservative writer, commentator, and blogger Andrew Sullivan be speaking at the convention.  Log Cabin will present Sullivan with the first ever David Brudnoy Award.  The late David Brudnoy was a well known gay conservative whose Boston talk radio program was heard throughout New England.

2. Congressman Wayne Gilchrest (R-MD) will join us for the Congressional welcome reception on April 27th at the Capitol Hill Club.  We'll be recognizing Gilchrest for co-sponsoring a bill to overturn the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy.  Last year, the Vietnam veteran courageously stepped forward as an advocate for ending this policy.  Aside from Gilchrest, many other Log Cabin allies will attend the Congressional welcome reception.
