This year, Log Cabin California supported a package of gay-rights bills in the State Legislature. These bills remedied inequalities for gays and lesbians in hate crimes, employment discrimination and the treatment of domestic partners by insurance companies. Keeping his promise to govern for all Californians, Governor Schwarzenegger signed these bills despite the vocal opposition of groups such as the Traditional Values Coalition and the Campaign for California Families. While Lou Sheldon and Randy Thomasson attack the Governor in the media, it is important for Arnold Schwarzenegger to know how grateful our community is for his support on these issues.
