The United States Senate is scheduled to consider the proposed anti-family constitutional amendment the week of June 5th.  This unnecessary and discriminatory proposal would turn back the clock on gay and lesbian civil rights by denying not only civil marriage, but also jeopardizing civil unions and possibly even any domestic partner benefits.  This amendment would make gay and lesbian Americans second-class citizens for generations to come.  Now is the time to make your voice heard.  Please do your part to defend the Constitution by contacting your United States Senators today.  Tell them to protect freedom and fairness by voting against the anti-family constitutional amendment
